Abstract

The Betancur administration's “Change with Equity” plan faced a very intense crisis situation in the Colombian economy: on the one hand, contagion from the international recession, i.e., lack of demand, particularly from abroad, and on the other, evidence of a profitability crisis that became increasingly evident as of 1970.
