Palabras Clave: Ambivalencia moral, Subjetividades políticas, Primera infancia, Narración, Conflictos sociales, Barrios Medellín ABSTRACT  The Place of Morality in the Construction of Political Subjectivity in Early Childhood Mary Luz MarínThe findings of a research project on the configuration of morality and the construction of political subjectivity in young boys and girls living in a context of conflict (the 8 of March neighborhood in the city of Medellín) allow the authors of the article to question the evolutionist model of understanding childhood. Consequently, they suggest that the configuration of children’s subjectivity is based on their experiences with others in a specific time and place, through a process in which both male and female children and adults participate. Thus, the article proposes four categories of understanding: (1) moral ambivalence as an axial category; (2) moral ambivalence in processes of intersubjectivity and alterity; (3) moral ambivalence and the political socialization of boys and girls; and (4) the construction of political subjectivityKey Words: Moral ambivalence, Political subjectivities, eErly childhood, Narrative, Social conflicts, Medellín neighborhoods ER -
